So Friday I took a bit of a spill and hit my head on a banister, it connected about eye level and I have about a 1.5 cm cut below and to the right of my right eyebrow. The entire area including eyelid is bruised, but that's not worrying me, on my actual eyeball the part that's usually white is slightly reddish in the corner, as well as a bruise-yellow. Has anyone seen this?

No, but I've sure they've seen it at the doctor's office or hospital.

Seriously, you don't want to ignore something if you don't know what it is, especially when it is affecting something as important as your eyes.

The red part of your eye could be a sty, which happens when you get hit in the eye, or sleep with something sticking into your eye between your eyelids. They usually go away in a few days if you apply hot pads and warm rags and stuff.

As for the rest... sux.

Doesnt sound any worse than what happens when you get a standard black eye.

But I'd still go to the doctor to get it checked out. Better safe than sorry, and you can get a certificate for paid sick leave, presuming you have a job.
