Finally.
As many of you may know I got laid off in November of 2002. I had to sell my house and move to Toronto to look for work.
So a company called Applied Physics Specialties called me today and I'm going for an interview.

Just in case you didn't know, I've been washing dishes in a restaurant for the past 5 months to try and make ends meet.

Man. I am soooooooo happy. They are owned by a company in my hometown of Burlington (where I'm actually living now) called Wescam and are a well known excellent company to work for. Also, they are looking for a senior optical coating technologist (which I am). Both of of those factors mean that it will be a well paying job. maybe even back up to the kind of money I was making before I was laid off.

Man. I can't wait for this interview now.

If I get this job, I will celebrate by buying JA, which my boys and I have wanted for months now, but couldn't afford. It's still $50. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/mad.gif]

Yeah, how's this for odd? My parents haven't been the least bit interested in my love-life my entire life, and now that prom is soon my Dad all of a sudden seems concerned that if I don't find a date and go it will mean I'm a social failure.
