Anyone know of a good wireless card for a laptop that’s under $100?

...basically all wireless PCMCIA cards are < 100 bucks. Go to a CompUSA (even if they rape you), a Circuit City, or a Best Buy. Guaranteed you'll find something.

Mine came built in, but my mom uses a Linksys in hers. Never had any problems at all.

I'm using a linksys also and it's been nothing but great.

If the networks are going to be 802.11b, you can't go wrong with WPC11 version 3 or higher.
