If you could somehow rework the netcode so my 56K could play, I'd be forever in your debt... any other changes don't really affect me.

Never played it... not really into DBZ.

It's not really that good, I mean, it's DBZ. It never really caught my interest. Plus it was way too hard to set up for your first time. It is pretty cool, but since like, nobody plays JK on massassi anymore (which they should. More orginized games damnit!), I'm not all that interested in Multiplayer mods. Maybe you should add a singleplayer campaign? (That would be pretty cool if you pull it off right)

You certainly have lots of skills you just can't waste with DBZ :p

But you could try and make more realistic talking animations, where the jaws move and so on...

Although I've never seen any DBZ shows, I tried out DBZ:TDiR. I found it to be very interesting from an editor's perspective (many cool features) and actually looks fun if you like the show, but I haven't really enjoyed it. The game play just didn't have quite what I was looking for. So I am voting "no updates", or as you put it, "Nah, who cares?". Any ideas I had for it have already been mentioned in the comments of the download page.

I play JK (and even MotS), and I edit JK. I don't have the desire to spend all of my time and money on new games. I enjoy the first-person types of games, and JK seems to have enough for me to implement all kinds of ideas that are not necessarily shoot-em up style. I consider JK a useful training tool for budding editors (at least until better games are easier to modify and script).

Whatever editing you decide on, I'd enjoy helping you out with it.

Most people don't seem to realise you don't need to be dragonball fan to enjoy a good dragonball mod.
The cartoon imo sucked badly. The fights took forever and the storyline was awful.
A lot of them had bad acting too, how does a cartoon have terrible acting? It shouldn't be possible, but there it is.

But (good) dragonball mods are cool, they let you fly around and chuck fireballs at each other while pulling off crazy martial arts.
So I say don't just dismiss a mod just because you think what it's based on sucks. Give it a go, ya mug.

I was in Mexico when it was released. This is the first time I realized that it came out. :p Was waiting for it to. Might be a reason to fire up JK just to test it out.

I don't like DBZ, but the TC itself still looks awesome.

I've been a fan of this mod for a long time. I'm one of the people that hasn't had a problem with playing it. I also like Dragon Ball Z. I've never thought there was anything wrong with it, But I can see why alot of people do. There are bugs, and the team forgot to put a couple things in the final release, but I still think it was great. I loved how I could fly, melee and choose my colours for the beams and again, I like DBZ. It would be worth adding more features.

Also, just for some specifics, there would be a constant flow of betas/alphas so that lots of feedback could be given and bugs squashed quickly. I'd get my bum in gear and put back the rest of http://www.hellraiser64.com/ and some kinda web driven bug report system. Updates would consist of:

• Bigger PL
• Force Star type system for abilities and attacks
• Targeting System/PL Sense (really fricken spiffy crap)
• Power Struggles (Melee and Beams with click to win system ala JO Saberlock)
• More intracate melee fighting, combos, super speed teleport super hit type DBZ stuff.
• All sorts of crazy effects, really push JK to it's limits
• Various tweaks to existing systems

And some other things that escape my mind right now...

Nothing wrong, just need to get with my dad to let me have access to the CPanel so I can add some MySQL stuff to get the actual site up and going. (It's all php/MySQL driven) But theres a temp page up.

Yeah, I could only play it by myself. Exploring was a lot of fun, but that's all there was to do.

What about that city level that was cancelled? Have another go at it for the update?
