JK: 1600x1200 16bit

JO: 11somethingxsomething 32bit trilunear
This is not the sig you are looking for. Move along.

JK: 1152x864 (Otherwise I can't read the text... it's also the same as my desktop res)
JO/JA: 1024x768 in a window (So it takes up most of my desktop and I can still ALT-TAB out.)

JK: 1280*1024

JO: If I had it, it would be 1280*1024

JK-640x480 16-bit. Just so I can read the text. I would take 640x400, if only my LapTop wouldn't stretch the display.

JO- 1280 32-bit windowed and I think Trill...

My desktop res is 1280x1024. I run all of my games a resolution below that. So 1024x768. I find they all run smoother that way. Plus, with JK, that's as high as I can crank it and still be able to read the text at a glance.

1024x768 in JK because otherwise I can't read the text on my 17" monitor. On my 20" back home I never went above 1280x1024 for the same reason. In JO and other games, typically the same or higher. JO and JA would run at 1280x1024 (my max on this monitor) since they run so well.

This might have actually been something that deserved a poll...
  • Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight: 1280x1024x16, x4AF (MY old R7000 doesn't do higher AF, and it chokes on AA)
  • Dark Forces III: Jedi Outcast: 640x480x32 (my card does not do my Athlon 64 justice! aauuurrrgh!)

JK:1024x768 because its the best to play and for making screenshots for Massassi 800x600.

I use 1280 for almost everything
Anything that isn't 1280 is either 1600 or too damn old

I play everything in 1280x1024.

JK: Above res, 3D accel, 6xFSAA 16xAA.

JO: Above res, 32bit, 6xFSAA, 16xAA, vsync at 85hz (framerate holds at 85 :D), trilinear, high geo, very high texture, and everything else is on.

And I leave it at that res even though my CRT can do 1280x960 because having both my monitors on the same res avoids a lot of dual monitor problems. And I don't run anything in window mode, as I can just multi-task on my second monitor by hitting the windows key and moving the mouse over :D

JK: 640x480 -- I get excellent framerate
JO: ? -- lowest res and LOD I bet

Okay, my comp is semi-obsolete. Shoot me.
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

JK & JO - 1024x768 with 16x AF 6x AA. Doesn't get much better then that. ;)

Well, there's 1280x1024...

Does JK even allow for 1280x960? It isn't availible for me.

Oh, Cool Matty? What card have you got? I envy it, because I estimate I have a motnh or so before I can purchase something worthwhile to replace my Radeon 7000...

I mean performance wise, 1024x768 is the sweet spot for a 9800 Pro. Except when I play Quake 3, I have that at 1200x1600 with x16AF and 6x AA. :D
