No. First time was the RC, Second time was an unnofficial announcement, and this time is the official announcement along with scheduled release date.

This is horrible! That's supposedly the same day World of Warcraft comes out! Now im going to have to choose between: Halo 2, Everquest 2, World Of Warcraft, and HalfLife2. Couldn't they make it just a little earlier??? You know, maybe a day or so?

Well you could narrow down your list by taking out Everquest.

Excellent. Now, with my school-paid copy of Halo 2 and personally-paid-for reservation for Half-Life 2, I shall be the envy of all my schoolmates.

BTW, I think the highest priority of them for me would be HL2. Everquest 2 is right out, and I don't use an XBox. WoW is very tempting, but the cost of MMORPGs (both monetary and life) is too much for it to be worth it.

Looking forward to this one. Very curious what the final result will be..

(Yoink, but I'm missing the usual "I stopped caring/never cared about Half Life 2 anyway, <insert game> will be much better" posts. Where are they? No HL2 thread would be complete without one :o )
