Yep, things are already going crazy here in Tallahassee. There was a demonstration Tuesday to have the Secretary of State removed (link). Fun, fun, fun! ;)

COUNTING!

Why is it so difficult?

jesus...
2004-10-21, 2:21 PM #4
It would be even less difficult if we had shed the arcane system of tally that is the electorate college and went solely to a simplistic popular vote this election. Then it truly would be just "counting".

Or just throw both of them out and bring back Clinton.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

I second that.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Thank God that will NEVER happen in the US. At least not in my lifetime.

Well, our country may not be run well, but since he's a chronic liar, we'd never know it. Sure, why not. Ignorance is bliss!

You do realize you just called a politician a liar. That's redundant. And you said the same thing twice.

Why is that? do you particularly enjoy having the election dominate the news for another month after the friggin' election is supposed to be over?! The way I see it, abolishing the electoral college would prevent almost all incidents like this; one of the candidates would already have a clear majority, so there wouldn't be need for court cases disputing an entire state. Perhaps a single voting precinct... (for single causes of election fraud)

Apparently, ignorance is bliss for you as well; I see no point in giving you the statements Bush has lied upon, as you;ve already been shown them many, many, times (as has the entire nation), yet of course, you simply dispute the evidence as a lie in and of itself. I will let you go on in your own little world, as it has been impossible for me to free you of it; all politicians lie. Jsut some do it more (and in bigger ways) than others.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! You are a funny man.

Also, Clinton was an awesome president. All the uninformed people say "OMG SEX LOLOL MONICA!", but if you look at what he actually did, he did a lot.

All Clinton really did was ride a good economical wave.
Ya know? Common sense? Not really that common...

The wave died soon after Bush entered office... Perhaps it was the way he held himself that made it die?

It was dying six months before he was elected. And then 9/11 happened

You're like those people who think the moon landing was a hoax. They contrive elaborate theories about what could have happened, and then think that every one in their right mind thinks that it’s a fact. I’d like to see official evidence that he lied. We have documented evidence that Clinton lied to congress about his affair. We have Michael Moore as “evidence” the Bush lied. All people have come up with anyway, is a way that bush could have lied. Give the guy credit for some intelligence. Why would he start a war that he didn’t have to fight? He knew it would be hard getting back the peace. He knew that it was a risk to him getting elected. Heck, I knew that before he even declared it. Please, you can dream up these things, but don’t assume that every one else believes them too.
