Anyway, I played it for a long while, but ditched it for FFXI. I've been getting a hankering for returning and playing my Assassin again, but I'm worried how the game is now. I haven't played since the Episode 2 update. (Turtle Island)

I might pitch in for a month or something.

I hated that game. Is it still that the only way to change your appearence is with masks? And are the only people playing still a bunch of 4th graders? And is the entire role-playing experience that the game could be still sacrificed to the idiocy that is assembly?

Anyway, a dual swordie assassin isnt great, mainly because hes slow. But it can be done. I just tried it, and it doesn't suck THAT bad.

only reason I ever played was because friends played... and it can be somewhat enjoyable if you've got nothing better to do and you just want to get on and fiddle around with friends.

I used to play the open beta a long time ago. Good times. I tried the 2 week trial one or two weeks ago but after SWG it was incredibly monotonous to just fight, fight and fight.

Well, i ment in the NeS, in there all your characters are named after .Hack (well, maybe not Wai, but i'm not sure) except for Cool Matty.

ehh, kirby, the game isn't about the graphics. it's about the system for building characters and socialising with friends (one of the main reasons iRO sucks is that it has WAY too many players; euroRO was bearable but there was a language barrier with many players. "ich kann nicht sprechen deutsch")

oh and there are dye NPCs now that change your clothes... i think there are several hundred combinations of dyes.

Oh, in NES! Oh yea, they are all .hack, even Wai. Wai stands for Wandering AI, which you would recognize if you watched the last part of .hack//DUSK.

iRO is awesome because of the amount of players. If you don't like that many players though, go to the Sakray server. About half the people than on the others.
