I wish to apologize about my statement in the "My Cousin" thread in regards to Vincent's friend's sister. I did not intend any harm by it but it came out as grossly insensitive and taking the matter at hand lightly(and vague from a look at the responses). Everyone who's been here long enough knows how much I hate rapists and rape and that I would not intentionally try to down play a situation like that. Once again, I am sorry.

What I was trying to say was from all the stuff she's went through in her life (specifically the cutting) that(from what I've learned) tells me she has a history of some sort of abuse and it might be worth it to look into it.

He means the cutting happened after the rape, while you seem to think she had been doing it all her life or something.

I never gave a time sequence of which all these happened other than the obvious: the abuse she (may have) suffered during her child hood occurred before everything else. The sequence in which everything else happened doesn't matter, just that they actually happened.

Yeah, how's this for odd? My parents haven't been the least bit interested in my love-life my entire life, and now that prom is soon my Dad all of a sudden seems concerned that if I don't find a date and go it will mean I'm a social failure.
