How do you get your screen of the day up? Is it the admins choice or can you submit one? And Im supposing it has to be in the showcase forum.

It's chosen from among the showcase forum by someone who has the power to.

I've had 5 SotD's before. (If you want a history of them I think it starts somewhere around here).

The admins choose the best screenshot they see in the showcase forum. It used to mean something (like level of the week), because you'd get hundreds of other maps to compete with every week.. But now? It just means you're probably the only one to release something. 1 vote gets you level of the week.

Not that all of the lotws and sotds suck now, but it just doesn't mean as much as it used to.

I think JediKirby is the one who mainly updates SotD these days. If I see something that I especially like, I'll add it. Ubuu also has access I think.

ive gotten it 3 or 4 times...and i agree with Flexor...SotD used to be a big honor..now its just the only half decent screen the admins could scrouge up from the past week.

I've gotten 4 and ½ SOTDs--the ½ being this--and I haven't released/finished any of the projects.

I AM the beloved SotD poster as of 11 posts back. If you ever have a suggestion for SotD, PM me. More often than not, I'll go check out what you mention, and post right away.

BTW, today's SotD is intentionally typoed. Seriously. Not joking. At all.

It was for MotS and no it was never released. It was the ArmyTC in which Uber(HOV) and I believe Emon also worked. That was my first animation to ever get put in-game.
