Eh, Zelda wouldn't be that good imo. Actually, it would be dumb. Great video games, but not movie material. Unfortunately, the same goes for Metroid... and practically 99% of the rest of video games.

I think its important to note that there is no Metroid movie in production yet... John Woo has only optioned the movie. The Metroid movie rights have been optioned before, and nothing came of it.
