For any of you who care, my computer monitor died so you won't see much of me from now up to the next two weeks until I get my new monitor.

Yeah, school computer. And, luckily, I have a VNC server runing on my computer so i can still use it... I just need to go across campus to do so. :(

They use security cable things to bolt all the hardware down here, sorry. :p

And I already nicely asked ITS if I could borrow a monitor. They told me pigs would fly first.

I will bug friends for montitor borrowage, I know a guy who has a dual-monitor setup. ;)

The question now is: what happened to your monitor? Did it just sieze up and die or were there other "factors" involved... :p

Nah, I just lived across from the dorm laundry room last year so there's probably loads of lint inside it :X.

Not sure if cleaning it out would help, but my guess would be no.
