That 70's Show is a good show to like, if you like it.

Meaning that, if you watch one or two episodes and like the humor, and enjoy the stories and characters, then you're going to like every single episode of the series. It's very consistant, and that consistancy is in it's awesomness, in my opinion.

My whole family is hooked on the show, and we've probably seen the first 6 seasons 3 or 4 times through twice-nightly reruns.

In the first season, dont they go to see the first Star Wars? After 7 years, doesnt that mean they should be at about 1983 by now?

That's the reason "That 80's Show" was created. ;) :p

Seriously though--would it be as cool if it were the 80s?

Well it's about as old as JK, right? How long has JK been around? 1997? 1998?

Didn't they do an episode where they were in the 80s?

There was a "That 80's show" but it bombed.

The 90's was a time of... paying bills from all the crappy toys you bought in the 80's. GO FIRST STAGE CD PLAYERS!

There was ONE episode of That 70's Show that showed life in the 80's, as if Eric had never dated Donna.

God, you people should watch more TV.

And I liked That 80's Show.

Yeah too bad nobody else did a rating of 0.0000000000000000000000001 isn't gonna help the channels it was being broadcasted on.

Assuming that 1 day in TV time = 1 day in real time. And I don't know of any series' like that.

What's strange is that I left my TV on last night and heard the advertisement for the DVD in my sleep, and somehow managed to remember it.

That 70's Show is one the best sitcoms on television right now. I love it. I've been wondering if any DVDs were available; I'll have to check it out.

It was on last night when I turned it off. I usually love to watch it because like you guys have said, it is consistently funny. Like The Simpsons used to be.

I'd agree with you there, but given the progression of them graduating from high school, and even getting married, at least a few years have passed.

I'm not being to serious about this, I personally just go with the idea that even though they are getting older, they are forever stuck in the 70's.
