I have the Logitech MX310, and it's sex in mouse form. Purchase.

Amazon has the 510 in red for just 30 bucks and free shipping. This mouse is crazy nice. Improved sensor over the 500 and is comfy as hell, looks pretty swank too.

I have a generic Microsoft optical mouse. It's nice (five buttons comes in handy sometimes), but it occasionally starts to creep across the screen without being moved.

If it will work with my keyboard, I'll be getting the MX1000 as soon as I can find one that I don't have to order. It uses a laser instead of an LED. So much more accurate. :)

Why no cordless? Are trackballs out of the question?

What's wrong with cordless? I've used the Mx700, the Mx900, and I'm thoroughly impressed by both. This is coming from the man who said wireless was the devil not but a few months ago ;)

Having used both cordless and none-cordless I say this:
Wireless keyboard are awesome.
Wireless mice just suck.

I'd be scared of losing it if I had a cordless mouse... :o

Wireless mice are incredibly awesome. As long as you keep them charged.

Why limited? Are you planning on eating them if they don't sell?

Yeah mine does the same thing. I just put the drivers that came with it on the computer and it seems to correct the problem. Maybe it's a bug with the generic mouse drivers.

Unless you do serious mouswork, just the plain old generic optical two button + wheel Microsoft mice work well, and they're the cheapest. 20 bucks, or less in some places.

Cordless aren't the best choice for serious gamers. My clanmate's wireless broke once during a league match. Why did it break? Because he threw it against the wall because the battery was dead. Therefore, cordless mice break and are bad.

I like my Microsoft wireless elite mouse/keyboard combo, but the mouse is starting to act up. With every wireless microsoft mouse I have had (two to be exact) my friends wireless mice, and keyboards, have always conflicted with mine. Resetting the signal does nothing. I think it is just something with all Microsoft mice. If my friend goes to type something fast, I cannot move my mouse at all unless I place the receiver about an inch away.

i just don't want cordless... i'd consider an mx700 if i could find one... at ~$30 since it recharges itself when i'm not using it...

Why have a cordless/optical mouse, when you can have one on wheels!

I jsut got one recently, and its aweseome. very, very accurate, and no jumping problems that can happen with wireless mice. the buttons are great, too. jsut about the same placement as the Intellimouse i had before, so it was easy to switch, but the cruise control, app switch and sidescroll buttons are sexay, though i haven't bgotten ito using them much yet, i always forget they'rer there.

Lastly, the battery is incredibly good. I'd had it out for over 24 hours (i foget to put it back on the base too oftne >.<) with just about no drain, so it must turn itself off when not used for too long, and i've used it constantly for over 8 hours with not even one bar (out of three) going out.
