This game seems so dead..
What happened to it?

I search but all I get is old info.

It comes out in March... that's all I know...

I dunno I haven't heard much on it... I hope it is still coming out.

As far as I know:

Still in development.
Still not an RTS.
Still not coming out on PC.

Still not Starcraft 2.

Dude, a first person RTS? Sounds cool. A first person RTS with cartoony graphics, cliche 'stealth,' and entirelly lacking storyline? Good god, don't rape SC.

Shut up and play it before you judge it. IMO, it's going to rule. I always wanted to play as a ghost, or a marine, get the feel of it.

And how do you know the graphics are cartoony (last I looked they were damn good), the stealth is 'cliche', and that it lacks storyline? Oh wait, that's what we call assumptions. And trust me, if anyone would be outraged about it raping SC it's me--SC is what got me into gaming--I've been playing for years. Since 1998.

Can we get a sedative to the Yoshi it seems cranky.

I personally want to give it a try, I don't really like the fact that it isn't coming out for PC but I'll definatly give it a rent for the PS2.

My assumptions were pretty damn close, as it's exactly what's in the press releases from blizzard themselves... crappy and cartoony storyline, gimmicky stealth, and a horrid storyline.

Kirby--it looks like all of blizzard's other games, somewhat cartoony but awesome graphics, the stealth they haven't even gotten into all that much, and they never said anything about the plot. So great job on assumptions.

Where exactly are you getting your info? Ghost's graphics are less cartoony than SC's...

Storyline: Blizzard hasn't revealed a whole lot about the storyline so don't even go there.

Stealth: Uhm... this is a game about a Ghost... besides there are moments will be gunning down multitudes of Zerg and marines.

Cartoony Graphics: A standard for all Blizzard games.

Yoshi and I must be the harshest judges when it comes to starcraft based products.

It's blizzard. You just -know- the game will be 3 years late, but when it comes out, it's gonna be good.

Only that it's not directly being made by Blizzard. Similar to when there was this WarCraft Adventure, that never hit the shelves.

I still have faith in it. Blizzard wouldn't let any company rape its good name. Starcraft: Ghost should be a very good product.

I think that it'll turn out good, the company who's making it, Swingin' Ape Studios , made Metal Arms, which was a really good (if not popular) 3rd person shooter.

I have to agree with Yoshi on this one. First of all, it's not a "first person RTS". Whoever gave you that idea was wrong. As mentioned already, cartoony graphics are the standard for all blizzard games. And they havn't released anything about the story, so how would know know?

This isn't "raping" SC. This is exactly what people like me (with StarCraft being the first game which I ever played for more than 14 hours straight) have been wanting.

It will rape everything I loved about SC, but that doesn't mean it won't be a totally sweetass game, I'm dying for it to come out and it sucks it won't be out on PC/PS2 for a long time if ever, and I'm disappointed that blizzard is letting some ****ty (In compariosn to Blizzard) company use their idea. I DEMAND STARCRAFT 2!!!! Or at least another expansion pack...

I'm rather worried about the game, myself, because of the below comic (1st and 2nd panel, i mean, the info. not the joke).



The breakup with Nihilistic was a bad one, and i'm not entirely sure what happened since then, but if it kept going on the same track they will have raped the game.

In its original form, the stealth and multiple ways of completing objectives seemed awesome, reminicent of Deus Ex, and so i really liked it, despite the fact that its not SC2 (and people still complainign about that, come on. SC is still selling, for god's sake. they don't need a new game yet, don't bash them for not making it) and i was looking forward to it immensly, but now i'm really worried. I'll wait until they get some demos and previews out, but i'm not geting my hopes up.
