Copy/paste, since I don't feel like typing it all over again:
Gainesville Raceway, 10/27/04.
I lined up with a white 2004 Mustang GT (stock) -- light went..I jumped ahead at the launch, and to my complete surprise, I glance behind -- and the Mustang is losing ground. For the first half of the run, I was slightly pulling on him; at the end, he came hauling up like there was no tomorrow.
My reaction was 0.029 seconds, and his was 0.55x -- as a result, I crossed the 1320 line before he did!!
I ran a 16.4xx at 82-83..he ran 16.1xx at 91. Our 330' time was exactly the same (to the thousandth of a second); my 1/8th was a hair faster, and he had me by three tenths at the end -- but due to his sad r/t, I actually crossed the line first..which doesn't matter time-wise, but I really wish I had it on video.
He messed up bad..there's no question about it..but still.
I also beat an RSX by about four tenths (16.291 vs 16.6xx).
No spray this time -- no bottle pressure and 87 octane..
