Guild Wars free weekend started today (day early)! WOOT

Pretty fun, but I don't think it holds a candle to FFXI (Personal Bias)

Am I the only one that was getting horrible download speeds? I gave up after I realized that you need to download each new area you enter. On my conection, yeah right.

Luthien Tienal. Guild Wars is awesome, personally. Very nice graphics. Doesn't measure up to WoW though :D

I like the fact that full retail version has no online monthly fee. I'm Aracloud Strife in the game. The game does have some pretty nice graphics. I finished one of the missions with a party, although the two players that joined up with me were quite quiet.

It's impossible to not play a woman in this game. They're all amazingly hot. And they all wear outfits something like the one in Juz's picture. Yes, I like this game. Especially due to WoW being down for the weekend.

I'm pretty sure you only pay for the retail price. However, I do believe that you have to constantly buy new side missions when they're released to add more content to the game.

You don't HAVE to buy it. It's just there. You can play vanilla guild wars to your heart's contentment. Most people will though.

Aww man, it's almost over.

The PVP is so beautiful... They only really have to work on item development. The equipment is pretty crappy and monotonous right now.

Graphically its amazing. With settings cranked to max and that funky post-production effect on it looks nifty. (And doesnt run like a dog)

Gameplay wise, its pretty cool. Didn't get a chance to play a lot, but it was still fun.

those screenshots look beautiful. infinitely more interesting than the "terrain" of SWG, which was just mind-numbingly dull...

Up until this point, it's my opinion that the terrain in SWG was better than in any other game.
