Werid movie, but check out the robot. Looks real IMO. Theres only 1 scene where it looks a little "fakey".

Looks like a very japanese-ish design, to me, and they tend to like the bunny-ears sort of thing.

The other thing I found very impractical about it was that while it was firing it had to turn it's head around to look the other way. Now, honestly, if you were to design a war robot, wouldn't you put cameras all over it so it can see everywhere? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]
Actually, now that I think about it, why would you design it even remotely like a human, anyway. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]
moral of the story: it's all just to look cool.

Indeed... And, ironically enough, the SciFi Channel is playing the Robocop miniseries right now... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

That's not ironic, SciFi Channel is always playing crap. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Actually, for the most part, anyway, I think a humanoid robot would be the most versatile design for that kind of thing.

Awesome, though I think some of it's motions were a little too human. Very nice nonetheless.

Anyone else see that when the camera changes to show what the Robot sees, there's a DOS screen overlayed ontop of it? At least it LOOKS like DOS. I find that somewhat disturbing... I mean, what if you're robot cop suddenly crashes?
