i very rarely watch the show and i did notice it in the second episode when it aired. just thought i'd ask about it here.

There's a reason...her exposure to trellium D or whatever...I think it's a great way of developing a character. I'm sick of uptight annoying Vulcans. Spock was amazing, but that Tuvok guy should be smacked in the face with a brick.

She's about the same as earlier seasons even though her emotions have been triggered by some element called Trellium-D. They should just call her a Romulan...

As a huge fan of the Voyager series, I must disagree. Tuvok kicked ***.

Voyager was bleh.

I stand by my Deep Space 9. Especially the last 3/4ths of the series.

The last episode I watched had her at home, and her mom showed way too much emotion too. It seemed like noone had informed the actresses about Vulcan characteristics.

DS9 was awesome until they replaced Dax.

Good Characters:
Tuvok was multi demetional, showing us that Vulcans do have strong emotion, but must work hard and long to controll/supress them.

Tom Paris and Belana made the cute, unexpected couple. Showin how thay fought in there relationship brins reality to there plight.

7 and the Doctor both kicked wooped *** in there acting. These 2 characters built them selves out of boring scriptom and into full intragated working persons.

Both encrnations of Dax are winners in my book.

O'Brian, a chracter so great he was brought though 2 sieres.

Troy's mom: she's so annoying she's LOVEABLE in every episode she appears in.

Jordy and Data's friendship will last for ever.

Bad Characters:
Chakotay was a flat character out of his place in the "spirit world"

Janway and her 'prime directive' got drug into the ground.

Harry Kim never made it for me either. all of his running around with random women never made him anything more than 'Tom's sidekick"

Kira flatlined when she went for Odo, after her type of person to date was defined as "rich political figure".

Kes. but, how much can you expect from a 2 year old?
