Wow, that's cool.

Those sunglasses look really futuristic. I like. Although it would be even better if they mounted some sort of cutting laser on them too.

Those would be cool if they weren't so ugly.

Cool but impractical. I'd still wear 'em.

What the hell is with that model? Did they scour the streets looking for the ugliest hobo they could find? :confused:

On topic, the player looks bulky and uncomfortable.

For some reason they remind me of Tom Cruises glasses in the beginning of mission impossible 2 after the mountain climbing. he puts em on and can see and hear about his mission.
The tips at the end of shoelaces are called "aglets". Their true purpose is sinister.

I have a movie that would be appropriate for the thread, but the site it's on has disabled the file for now, and it's 8 meg. I'm not really in the mood to upload 8 meg...

Lil John! DUHHHHHH

But yes, that website is horribly designed. Now, I'm not trying to be mean to Lil John, but he's ugly... Bad image placement.

The idea for the product is there... I just dont see a need for it.

Need is not always what motivates a purchase :)

Good idea, but I'd never use it.

Yea, when the first thing I see when I click that link is Lil' Jon's mug with his blingin' "grill", it makes me NOT want to buy them.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD?! $400 for the cheapest model? Those lenses better deflect a .45 at point blank range for me to pay $400 for a pair of glasses!

And in case anyone was wondering, folks, oakleymp3shades has previously been initialized to 0.

Well beside the blatant disregard for correct expressions (== instead of = if you are doing a comparison. One = sets the variable to the value), you should be using boolean instead of 1 and 0. Also, the lack of any semicolons and brackets means this code will never work :D
2004-10-31, 7:55 PM #16
And why would you put it in a loop??

To be fair some languages use the same operator for assignment and equality, such as Pascal. It's not necessary for everything in the world to be written in C. :p

mp3s in your sunglasses? BRILLIANT!

only problem is, i hate Oakley's "style"

(and why should I settle for 256 MB in my sunglasses when I can hold 20 GB in iPod?)

Not a bad thing to spend 500 bucks on.

Actually, I'm taking C right now, and = works. No need for == in a while loop, though if it were a for loop, then it would be ==. Either way, I looped it because you're that wrong, and I can.

:eek: !!!

495$ for the 256mb version! What a rip... my 40gb creative player was $270. It might not fit on my head, but it fits a hellalot more songs in my pocket and leaves a crapload more money in my wallet!

That's exactly what I thought as well. It's really no suprise that they are making things like this. There are mp3 players in phones and watches, why no sun glasses?

DJ Yoshi, your loop works amazingly well in Bizarro World, but in the real would, you would get several compiler errors.

I would never wear sunglasses that ugly. My sunglasses are a lot better looking, and cost less than $20.

Agreed.

while(something1 == something2)
{
...
}

^^^ would be proper usage of a while loop. You don't need the curly brackets if you have only one instruction (such as in your case), although you do need a ; at the end of your line. You would necessarily need a line to modify something1 or something2, or else you'll wind up in an infinite loop.

But as for booleans, if you're in C, IIRC, booleans aren't used the same was as they are in C++, and 0 signifies false, and anything else (1, -1, 23) is true. In C++, you would be using T/F directly.

Oh, and I saw a magazine ad for these last month. They're fulgy.

I got bored and decided to upload the movie I spoke of earlier. Link is further down. .mov format. 8ish meg. Lycos will probably complain to me for awhile about it, but screw them. Wonder if it'll go down....

No. But if they offered me these I'd take 'em in a heartbeat. Those are just infinately cooler and sexier. Too bad they don't exist. YET.
