I saw no one else posted about this, so here it is. It is a beta of the US Demo. It is not an illegal copy or anything. Some of you may think it is really cool, but let me tell you that after a while, you realize that they just made this to show off thier physics. Not gameplay. They are displaying the engine capabilities. It is pretty fun, but also very buggy.

I love the gameplay things they have implemented so far, I sure hope they make the helicopters easier to fly though.

I have a AMD Duron - 800Mhz, 512mb ram, GeForce 2 Ti...uhh yeah, it runs UT2k4 on highest detail (singleplayer) but multiplayer I have to turn it way down.

This doesn't run that bad either.




It's very fun, the 3rd person works out just great. It has sort of a '007: Everything or Nothing' meets 'Call of Duty' kind of gameplay.

gah, I hate bittorrent downloads.

However, brturbo downloads are much worse-- you have to set up a proxy for those to get them to work.

This is the worst demo release I have seen in ages. Sure, it's a beta demo... and it shows. A lot of people use this as an excuse for its poor quality. Look at the release date of the game. They have far too much to do in a short period of time. This is going to be one of those games that gets three patches the first week it is out.
