Poll: Who'd you vote for?
2004-11-02, 8:24 AM #1
So yeah, who did you vote for? I took the easy way out and voted straight party Democrat. Especially since I don't know anything about the local politics around here. But I had to use this weird machine with buttons up and down the sides of it with an advance ballot button... lemme see if I can google up a picture of it...

http://www.sedgwickcounty.org/elections/microvote.htm

I don't live in Sedgwick county or anything, but this is the type of machine... It's the most confusing thing I've ever used....

So yeah, who did you vote for? And what did you use to vote for them with?

I didn't and won't vote because I'm not American, but I would vote for George W. Bush, a strong leader in these perilous times, as opposed to John F. Kerry, a pansy communist who doesn't know what he stands for.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

I don't know what you're talking about. Only a fool would think that.
Just kidding. My sarcasm detector actually works today.

I voted Kerry. We had paper ballots and I had to fill in a little circle. I voted for a few people that I knew about, then I voted on one that I know nothing about for the candidate just because she's a woman, then I decided not to vote for stuff I didn't know about anymore.

GEORGE W. BUSH

We used scantrons...you know the same deal you use in tests. I'm told it's California wide. Fellow Californians wanna confirm/deny this?

I voted for Kerry on these touch-screen computer things that I'm sure have already been rigged to take the total number of eligible voters, subtract 60% of that number and then take the remaining sum and split it 75%/25% Bush/Kerry respectively. There's no paper-trail and I'm a conspiracy theorist.

Polls close at 8 PM PST. Usually results are not far off after 8.

I voted Independent: Nader/Camejo

I have not yet voted, but in half an hour I plan to go vote for Kerry. Yes, I'm voting, even though it won't matter.

Voted Bush and the Democratic senate candidate, Inez Tenenbaum.

I also voted for an amendment to the SC Constitution that repeals the requirement that liquor in bars must be in minibottles (you might have seen something about this on the Daily Show). It won't affect me for another two years, but I voted for the future!
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

My ideaologies seem to be right on line with the democratic party, but I broke party lines when it came to voting . . . Twice.

I've met and strongly dislike both our democratic congressman (who also promised that 3 terms ago would be the last time he ran), and our state representative. Both of them have both just been in office far too long, and I've heard evidence to support that the state rep. doesn't even respond to phonecalls from people in the northern half of his district!!!

But I am a strong Kerry supporter.

Voted Kerry/Edwards via Absentee Ballot/scantron. As like Sine, I voted to repeal the mini bottles, because it does affect me.

There's plenty going on to fuel your paranoia. The CEO of the company who supplied the touch screens vowed to give the election to Bush.

I voted for myself.
I'm getting about 15 votes from freinds and random people as well.
I intent to actually campaign for presidency when I turn 35.

Wouldn't that be funny if it was like 50 million votes each and they had to re-vote... :p

No one because I'm 17.

Anybody but Bush.
Well, I hate Kerry even more.
And Nader would make a terrible president.

Some how, that leaves me with the one presidential candidate I can count on to make the government smaller:

Badnarik.

I got kicked out of a CoD server today.. :( Someone asked me if I voted for Kerry, and I said yes. He said, "Bad mistake. Kerry supporters aren't welcome here." Then booted me.

The ironic thing is he's no doubt a 12-year old who can't even vote in the election.. dumbass.

Kerry and Obama. I feel great. I actually voted for a Republican for State Representative because she shook my hand while I was waiting in line.
