I'm reminded of a lot of the issues that were explored by Kim Stanley Robinson in the Mars Trilogy, with the longevity treatments.

Living a longer would only be cool if you got those extra years in your late 20s and early thirties. I don't want to live another 30 years if I'm all old and decrepid.

This experiment, brought to bring longer lives to mammals, will kill us all. Sireiously.

Similar projects were done with biolectromagnetics ionizing blood through meditation to live long lives. Very hard to do, from what I understand. Daolist monks did it, lived up to 120 years...

Genetically manipulating the gene though can get you 150 years.

I still think that we will kill ourselfs with all these new scientific discoveries. Same thing happened with Dynamite, and most Bombs.

Regardless, longer life is just not something that we need. Who gets any smarter after age 70 anyway?

I think it would get to a point where you would just go insane anyway.

We don't need Bruce Forsyth living another 300 years. Please, think of our sanity!
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.
