In a sense, I guess it was kind of expected considering that there were Resident Evil games still being made for the PS2.

Well, as long as they make it for the Gamecube and then port it to the inferior PS2 I won't be concerned.

I don't like Gamecube. PS2/Xbox...although Microsoft did a horrible job makeing Xbox...

I love the PS2, and like the X-Box, but for some reason the Gamecube in everything but controller is crap to me (the controller is my favorite, though the c-buttons are retarded and I wanted a second analog stick). Meh.

Meh, it was bound to happen eventually. Personally, I think they just need to give up on RE4. I mean, they've started over from scratch, what, twice now? Plus, the last few RE games have pretty much sucked the big one. Come to think of it, all the Resident Evil games, save the original, were pretty dissapointing.

luckily they are developing for the cube and porting it... being on PS2 as well won't hurt the cube version considering all the progress they have already made

What the hell are you talking about?

Gamecube, Xbox and PS2 controllers all have two analog sticks... I mean, what console were you playing? N64? Jesus.

I have all 3 consoles and I can easily state that the one I use the least is the PS2. There are just no good games for it that aren't also available on other platforms. I just use it for Final Fantasy games and the rare esoteric Japanese game they didn't release for the Gamecube (Katamari Damacy).

It has an analog stick and a 'c button' stick. The C button stick isn't used most of the time, especially not in the way an analog stick would be used.

Just because the programmers for the Gamecube make crappy video games doesn't mean the Gamecube doesn't technically blow the *** right off the PS2.

It comes down to this for me... 5 to 10 seconds load time or 20 to a minute load time... you do the math. You'll see that Gamecube is the better choice... but don't knock the Xbox that thing is not without it's perk... and I have a PS2 as well and it's not bad.

Get off my ****ing back. I've played the original and the remake of the original, as well as Zero. And my OPINION still stands. Resident Evil 2,3, Zero, and what little I've played of Code Veronica do not even compare to the original/the remake of the original. If you don't agree with me, fine. But don't call me ignorant just because my opinion differs from yours.
