Free e-mail with 3 GB storage?

Anyone else heard of this? It's like gmail, except like... 3 times more space. I have no idea if it's good or anything; I just found it.

Ha. The domain names suck though.

POP3 / IMAP and WAP -- thought that was pretty cool :)

Size is not the key feature of Gmail, it only draws visitors in. The searchable e-mail, labels, contacts, the entire web interface is awesome. I don't even need a POP3/IMAP client, infact, I don't think I would use one given the opportunity with Gmail, unless Gmail released extensions/plugins for it.

Yeah 1 GB is more than enough, besides, Gmail rocks in every way.

Except for the fact that it can't be used to send maps to Massassi or some other places because of the 10 MB max attachment size... So, 1 GB is indeed enough since with only so small attachments, it does take a loooong time to fill it up.

Even on sending? Meh.

What's the maximum attachment size?

That depends on the attachment. With Gmail, you can send and receive messages up to 10 megabytes (MB) in size.

When you add an attachment, the size of a file may increase because transport encodings (the information that allows your message to be safely sent and read) are automatically added.

This means that in some cases, attachments that are 6 to 10MB in size may push the total message size above 10MB. When this happens, Gmail displays a warning that your message exceeds the 10MB limit.

That's straight from gmail's help documents.

Yep. Had to break down LoaM2 into 27 1.44-MB volumes in order to submit it to Massassi. :o

Wouldn't it have been easier to upload to a site and then include a link in your email to the staff? I could've hosted it for you, CM probably as well :p

this really isn't that bad... I sign up for free stuff like this alot... but the advanced interface is kinda nice... and it uses it's own tabbing system... So you can have multiple messages open within even one tab of a tabbed browser... it's really kinda neat..

Still, 10MB per e-mail is still far more than you'll get anywhere else.

Well, how much is this unitedemail thing offering?
