The game will play on damn near anything, and your system isn't an exception. It'll run quite well, probably 800x600 with max settings everywhere, that's my estimate.

I run UT2k4 on highest detail (singleplayer) with my AMD Duron 800Mhz, 512 RAM, Ge Force 2 Ti. But multiplayer I have to turn it down to low. I don't mind, still just as fun.

Whats exciting is, I am still not tired of playing the same Onslaught game, on the same map, over...and over....and over....

Lower all texture quality settings. It'll boost your load times like mad.

am I correct in thinking that by doing this it will not hinder video quality or performance?

Also, nForce2 users experiencing choppiness should update the onboard sound drivers. Look up Realtek on google and DL the RC`97 codecs. It fixed my speech recognition problems.

Hrm... After following those instructions the game loaded twice as quickly as it used to, exited three times as quickly as it used to, but had a framerate four times slower than it used to [http://forums.massassi.net/html/eek.gif]

I was experiencing long times as well as frequent stuttering on big maps. The program fixed that completely. Did you apply the advanced settings noted in that thread? If you did, I really don't know. The program shouldn't affect raw FPS really.

Well I had reasonable load times to start with (768mb ram). Things get jittery after 4 or 5 maps, but I hardly ever play for that long so it aint really an issue.

How do you disable pre-loading skins? I looked all over the ini file and couldn't find it.
