I hate the Clone Wars people. The movie better pick up immediately following episode 20.

I absolutely love that series. The animation is so smooth and the quality is excellent. There is minimal cheesiness and I haven't heard any cringe-worthy dialogue so far.

i watched about 2mins of the first ep a couple days ago...
i HATE this current style of american animation where the backgrounds are so poorly drawn that the 'sprites' don't even look right against it.

not to mention the fact that the characters and vehicles etc are poorly drawn; it looks like Powerpuff Girls for crying out loud!!! =/

give the show to some real animators (read: GAINAX, GHIBLI, etc [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]) and maybe i'll watch it all the way through.

There isn't just one style of animation. I think that the Clone Wars style was good. That's just my opinion obviously.
The movie doesn't pick up after chapter 20. The battle of Hypori was a couple of months after the battle of Geonosis. Episode 3 is three years after the battle of Geonosis...

... I didn't care for the animation style of Samurai Jack, and *I* liked Clone Wars. It's supposed to be simplistic.

After watching some eps I've downloaded, Clone Wars seems pretty cool. No matter how the animation looks like, it could be better, but it's entertaining [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

I like it, especially the fights from the ARC trooper episode and the last three, but I hate how they just end the series before ending the climactic battle.

I thought it was good with it mindless action. Although I'm not so sure about how they're protraying the jedis. The way they can just use the force to knock down 100 troops....it makes them seem invincible.

I loved it, Mace windu was kicking some serious *** in episode 13.

The jedi did seem a little over powered with knocking down waves of droids in one wave of a hand, but then they all got slaughtered by the one droid at the end.

I just don't understand the logic of how most of Mace's Geonosis raid team died, yet he can destroy hundreds of super battle droids with his bare hands ... in the course of five minutes.

Other then that, I like it a lot. Just wish they'd've made it a little longer. Or perhaps make a cartoon version of some of the comics.

I would suspect that in AotC, the Jedi weren't used to fighting a war (or fighting at all for that matter). They were relying on their training for the most part. In Clone Wars they've had a few months to improve their abilities specifically for combat.

This series is done by the same group who does the Powerpuff girls and Samarai Jack. And there's nothing wrong with this cartoon at all. Besides, it's like the Cartoon Networks catch line says: "It's the movies Lucas should be making"...

I don't like it either. I sat down once and watched about 8 or 10 minutes of one, and I found it incredibly cheesy... I mean, I can understand it was done by the same group that did those other cartoons (I could definately tell it was done by the samurai jack people. they look exactly the same.) But that's the problem... to me, it seemed to BE samurai jack, jsut with yoda instead. Like they had a scene where he ran through a bunch of robots swinging his saber, and then came out on the other side, stood there for a moment, and then they all fell apart <--- right, name one samurai jack episode where they don't pull that same trick [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]
so then he jumps on top of one of the droids and starts blocking lasers and just stands there for like 5 minutes going "ZOOM ZOOM WHOOSH BOING!!" X_x

Like them all you want, but I'm sorry they're just not for me. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
