I download the Adobe PhotoShop CS Trial version. I unzip and install it, then I open it I get "Trial Expired" WTF?! I've never used PS in my life, whats going on?! The PS icon says last modified 10/17/2003, some of the files say 9/8/2003 or 8/25/2003, the folders say 4/11/2004. WTF is up with this?!

Lots of things have strange sorts of assigned trials or digital signing or whatever. Primarily adobe and microsoft.

I downloaded a demo for mw3 or something from ms a while back and it wouldn't let me install say the trial had expired as well. Like i guess it was a limited time trial and they never removed it when it died or something. Dunno. Wish they'd told me that 200m of dl /before/..

I had something VERY similar happen with a MW3 demo not but a month ago. I downloaded two of them becuase I couldn't tell which it was that I had previously. The first one wasn't it, but had everything I wanted. The second said nothing about being a trial demo, but after 45 minutes of my tooling around in it the game promptly exited, tried to load a site in IE, and wouldn't let me in because my trial was up.

I uninstalled it and am currently using the other demo. MW3 > all other MW versions.
