How many Withdrawls do you have? I am planning on taking my first one today....but I am not sure fi I want to do it. I just took a Circuits test today and I think I didnt do too well..putting me at a C or a B in he course. Now if that is the case.....I also have a C in physics, with some really tough material coming up. If I fail he physics test, I will get a C in the class...I can't have two C's on my transcript..especially since I plan on transfering schools for next fall..should I?

make this legit, how many W's do you have?

If you withdrawal from courses, you can lose full-time student status. Keep that in mind.

I was going to withdraw from my Discrete Mathematics course, but my parents wanted me to stay with it, regardless of the grade that I got (maximum is a C at this point), so I went ahead with it. Meh. It's only a 3-hour course, anyway.

In my 5th semester (I'm considered a Junior right now) and 0 W's!

*cheers*

I've never even dropped a class either during drop/add period. I just go in, and no matter how bad the teacher is I'm like "Bring it on!"

I guess it's like a game almost...and that is why I have a 4.0. I just always seem to learn what the teacher wants to see and I deliver.

No 'W' here.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I dropped some bull 'self-paced' course over the summer. I have a pace, and it's really slow. Wouldn't have passed it so I got out.

No withdrawls but one that I should of :p I got a decent mark on the last test though, so if I can manage a 60 on the final, I should pass.

Completed my degree with only one withdrawal. Of course I was the kind of fool who sat it out for a bunch of classes thinking I'd make it up on the final exam only to inevitably fail.

I've had a few withdrawls. They aren't a big deal usually.

This is the third friday in a row I haven't gone to class. I don't know why, but I just can't bring myself to go to class on Friday.

I withdrew a politics class this semester... I would've gotten an A-, had I completed it. The killer: there were no books for the class availible, so I had no material to study. I'm re-taking the same class this spring, am going to purchase the books much earlier, (now that I also have money this long before classes begin) and see myself cofortably getting an A.

This is my first quarter, so none. I doubt I'll ever have any, since they have a fairly late withdrawl date at RIT (you can withdraw up to a certain date without a W), and you can take a course over again and have the new grade replace the old grade in your GPA (although the old course still shows).

Thats how it is here. Except all the teachers put the last test like two days after the drop date just to be asses. W's are bad unless you have A LOT and you want to go to grad school.

Anywho...I have a lot of pride, and to me a W just shows retardeness...thats for me though. Guess it kinda shows you couldnt deal with the course load, so why should someone hire you if you just quit when it gets though. But I dropped anyways, I hate Cs.

The only thing that bugs me is that no exams are held here until after the deadline for changing a class to CR/NC, which is but two weeks after the start of class (Drop/Add ends two days after classes begin here, stupid). If I could find out which class/classes I would be expecting to have difficulty acing, I could just change to C/NC, and never have to withdraw.

Nah, I dropped my econ class because there was a quiz every Friday morning and I didnt want to have to get up that early.

It's not the courseload, it's the laziness. So, I have one W.

I have not dropped any yet. I was considering dropping Real Analysis (mainly because my teacher isn't very great), but I think I'll just stick it out.

Well, no W's for me. However, one was supposed to be a W but I foolishly thought my instructor was going to drop me on his word that "you are are absent 3 days, you'll get dropped" which he never fulfilled, resulting in a "F" for the class that I stop going to for over two months. If that wasn't bad enough, I got an F for another class that same semester because I missed too many assignments. Now I have two fat Fs on my record next to a bunch of As, Bs, and one C. At least my GPA is still good so I'm not on probation.
