Load up a CT or T model. Go to sequence. On those drop down menus look for ACT_MENUPOSE.

Zoom out and enjoy :D

Setting up Hammer

Seeing as VERC isn't up right now, here's the info you need to get Hammer working.

* Game Executable Directory: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\counter-strike source
* Game Directory: Step 1 - Copy gameinfo.txt FROM C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\sourcesdk\cstrike_sample_content TO C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\counter-strike source\cstrike
Step 2 - set Game Dir to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\counter-strike source\cstrike
* Hammer Map Directory: Whatever you want!

* Game Executable: Not actually sure if it's hl2.exe or steam.exe - neither of them seem to work. You can still load the map by loading the game yourself and using the 'map' command.
* BSP, VIS and RAD: All in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\sourcesdk\bin\
* Compiled maps folder: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

Setting up the Run command properly: for some reason, the standard Run command doesn't actually invoke the EXE you tell it to. Adapted from the NS forums.

quote:BSP:
Click new to create a new Compile/run command
Click the Cmds button and select BSP Program
Under Parameters add "$path\$file"
Make sure Use Long filenames is checked

VIS:
Click new to create a new Compile/run command
Click the Cmds button and select VIS Program
Under Parameters add "$path\$file"
Make sure Use Long filenames is checked

RAD:
Click new to create a new Compile/run command
Click the Cmds button and select LIGHT Program
Under Parameters add "$path\$file"
Make sure Use Long filenames is checked

Copy File:
Click new to create a new Compile/run command
Click the Cmds button and select Copy File
Under Parameters add "$path\$file.bsp $bspdir\$file.bsp"
Make sure Use Long filenames is checked

Run Game:
Click new to create a new Compile/run command
Click the Cmds button and select Executable
Under Parameters add "-applaunch 240 -console -dev +map $file"
Make sure Use Long filenames is checked

And you should be set to start mapping!

I still cant get hammer to load properly though :(
