alrighty i just got Jedi Academy and after playing it for a while i got to the first Corellia level where it is rainy and foggy. When I tried to play it i could not see anything. It was just a default grayish color. I could see outlines of lights, darker areas, lightsabers, and blaster bolts nothing else. I thought it was just the level so i continued on to the hoth level. The same thing happened with a slightly brigter shade of gray. Heres what i am running it on

PIII 800Mhz
Intel integrated 3d acceleration graphics card
Creative soundblaster 512 sound card
256 MB RAM

could you please tell me what the problem is and if it could be remedied any way. any help would be appreciated.

sorry if on wrong forum not sure

It may be your graphics card. JO/JA has that bug where textures don't show up sometimes.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

I have worse computer than that, and the level still runs with me... O_o

The graphics card sounds like the problem, though.

If it's not the software, it's definitely the gfx card. Intel cards are horrible, I suggest getting something...decent...if you feel you must continue playing. A 9500 or 9600 would do you just fine for what you're wanting to do.

Welcome to Massassi.

Yeah, how's this for odd? My parents haven't been the least bit interested in my love-life my entire life, and now that prom is soon my Dad all of a sudden seems concerned that if I don't find a date and go it will mean I'm a social failure.
I don't get it... I accepted that fact a long time ago, why is he just now realizing it?

Our school has those, that IS your problem. Suck it up and buy a good Nvidia or Ati card [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] sorry.

Thanks for all the info. Hopefully I can just get a whole new computer because my graphics card is onboard with the motherboard. Time to start saving my money...
