I'd like to know a good, free flight sim, preferrably war-era ish or at least fighter pilot flight sim, but I can live with a regular flight sim. Free, if at all possible, or not free if it's really good or there's nothing good that's free.

Free? As in no money? A good one that costs about 20$ now is IL2:FB. It pwns CFS3. Best flight sim ever.

Well if you get FS2002, which still rocks, you can get some fantastic addons.
I mean stuff that real pilots use to practice the procedures. 767PIC is a good one, DF 737 isnt too bad, RFP 747-200 is amazing, etc etc etc.

Pick up a copy of MS Flight Simulator 2004. Usually around $35-50.

If you have a PS2, I reccomend Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.
