I want to know what you guys think about this game, I'm getting it in ten days, retail, on dvd and a t-shirt too :D! Now for the questions... How are you guys getting it? Are you? why? Why not? What's better? Why's it better?

Steam is a pile of steaming ****. I'm not getting this game, I hated the first one. I'd rather play Daikatana than HL.

Already bought Gold. I make it a habit to buy collectors edition games, but since the collectors edition for HL2 retail was utter crap (80 bucks for a mini-prima guide and a t-shirt), I went for gold instead.

On a sidenote, Steam is the most convenient program I've ever used. Never had any problems with it, either.

I'll probably just get the regular version. I just care about the single player game, and I don't want to download it. But on six CDs? That's nuts. Only the collector's edtion comes on DVD.

I'm more excited about the Painkiller expansion, through.

I've already got the Bronze package through the ATi bundle, but I'll probably wind up upgrading to Silver for DoD Source and HL Source.

Yeah, even if you dislike the idea of the game, you really have to be stupid not to realize how beautiful the game looks.

BTW, to me it seems like Valve has been planning all of this from the beginning. Everything is set up perfectly, like a chess game, so that they will make the most profit out of everything. Seriously, it's sickening how phycologically raped I feel right now. So vaulnerable...

BTW, I've got a silver ATI pack, for some reason. If it isn't, I'll gladly update it to silver for a measly 10 bucks.

Yea, Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes is pretty fun if for whatever reason you are getting ungodly bad pings in CS:S.

CS: Source is beatiful, and amazingly fun!

Didn't make this, just fixed it up.

I hear it's broken in IE6SP2. Can't be helped because IE6SP2 sucks (and I can't test it, either). :/ Works fine in IE6SP1 and Firefox.
