I finally obtained the expansion, and my first all the way through foray will begin tonight! I can't wait to see what happens. I'm gonna play through and try not to reload b/c of a death, and my character is a wild mage. I just think the part of a son of a war-like and crazy God of Death deserves to be unpredictable and crazy dangerous.

No spoiler, I just gather that from the opening...wooooo. Let the fun begin...after I finish English.

Great game, hope you like it. Don't care for wild mages myself, and just thinking about the beginning gives me nightmares. Just keep truckin' for a bit, once the baal starts rolling... it never stops

Currently playing through Shadows of Amn.

I just hope you started with the original BG, and have Throne of Bhaal installed. Throne of Bhaal is by far the best of the three.

I've done BG, BG:ToTSC, BGII:SoA and BGII:ToB

The story behind them all is great - I think I enjoyed Athkatla the most, just travelling around doing quests etc.

I originally started with BGII, then did ToB and finally went back to play through BG and TotSC.

ToB is a great ending to a truly magnificent story.
