so I get the WoW beta client, spend an hour cleaning up my harddrive to MAYBE get it to work, which involves deleting the installer once its done
then I realize fileplanet put the installer in a zip, so I extract, windows says its done. I delete the zip.


only to find it extracted only half the files. ugh.

so I now have to redownload it. BLARGH.

Did you empty your recycle bin? If not it should still be there...

He was probably dealing with a pretty massive file, in which case when they get over a certain size, they skip the Recycle Bin entirely and just get deleted deleted instead of Recycle Bin deleted.

You can adjust the size of the recycle bin, either globally or for each drive independently.
*right click* Recycle Bin --> Properties
