Another 3D program thread (specific)

I'm looking for a specific type of 3D program that can generate tree models. I am already aware of two of them (Tree Generator and OnyxTree). But I need something more realistic than Tree Generator and something... shall I say 'more free' than OnyxTree.

Bryce 5 does trees, although they look more like sprites compared to real 3d models that oyu import from other programs.

The LSystem script for Blender generates trees I think.

Yep, just found it.

I've never managed to get past creating a shape in blender, does it actually do other things?
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

I love you. Blender is my primary modelling program, too. :D

You tell me. ;)
That's not mine, btw.

It also has/had a basic gaming system built in, but I think it was temporarily removed for further development of the physics engine.

I managed to model a truss bridge in it last week; so basically i've figured out how to extrude and rotate things. Other than that, I dunno. It doesn't have the mose... intuitive... interface. Seriously, who would think of pressing the "g" key to translate something? Or the "b" key to select stuff?

Oh boy, here he goes with another thread.

10 bucks says he re-posts this thread in a half a year in a different forum, maybe music :-P

Let's see... last time I specifically asked for a tree generating program...

oh that's right, I haven't.

Try reading the Beginner's tutorial. :p
Also, spacebar is your friend.

By the way, for g and b, think g=grab, b=box selection. And press B again for circular selection, adjustable by mouse wheel or + and -.

And by the way, Ric, that script is a bit difficult to use. I can't manage to get a decent tree, even after reading the tutorial.

I was referencing the second 'gimme a 3D program to use' thread you made. Remember? "Oh, I even posted on that thread"

Yes, I remember. This one is requesting one that does a specific task, excluding the two I mentioned.
