This was a girl who went to my school, in my year, and has an entry in the yearbook that I did. She was very close to a lot of my friends, and she was killed for her mobile phone and her wallet to feed some drug addicts habit. Thrown off a dry bridge.

And the S.O.B is appealing against his conviction - Caroline's family have only just got the conviction and have been able to put this behind them, and now this.

In times like this I feel that every non-criminal should be given a gun and be taught how to use it.

I disagree, they need to suffer in this world before they whatever happens to em in the next.

Last year while waiting around at Central Station in Sydney, my ex-girlfriend and I had a syringe pulled on us by an addict wanting money. Lucky for us, a group of people came by and the guy bolted.

I heard about this poor girl earlier this year. I hope that ****er stays behind bars permanently. Scum like him should not be allowed out of prison. Ever.

All drug addicts should be shot, with the exception of the ones that realize they need help.

I am sympathetic to you and the family of the deceased. That is a horrible experience that I can't really feel because I have never faced something that horrifying but nevertheless . . . wowsers.

You have my most sincere condolences, Martyn, a does everyone else who knew Caroline Stuttle. That was a truly tragic or horrifying event, and it should not be forgotten.

What many of you may find interesting is that I do believe that the death sentence shouldn't be used. I'm unsure if Australia has a death sentence, as I'm only aware that the death sentence is banned in the EU. My reasons for favoring a life-without-parole instead of a death sentence are, in this case:

• Less money is spent on a life sentence. (even assuming it lasts, say 60 years, even though convicts usually die in prison between 20-30 years) No point on wasting more money on those scum.
• It gives them years to stew over themselves, and descend into wretchedness. then they can die in their cells, and go into eternal damnation, or whatever else you please.

Get a better understanding of the way **** works bro. Not everyone is a ****in prep kid that grew up in a perfect world with rich parents and a good life. Alot of people are from the gutter and they grow up around drugs...these are not "bad" peopel they just were ****ed from the start.

I'm not sayin this dude wasnt a bad person, but not all drug addicts deserve to die.
