New PSU!

I'm back, after my failed PSU adventures. I am kinda worried--I came from a 400 watt and am now on a 300 watt running 2 CD drives, an HDD, and a 6800GT. Mainly the 6800GT that worries me. Hopefully the PSU will hold up, though. If nothing else, I'm happy that I have my compy back. :)

Post your current crises and/or their resolutions.

My MBR ****ed up after I cleared my Linux partition and forgot that my Grub info was on it. Popped in the Windows XP cd, booted to recovery console, and everything turned out ok.

Apparently 6800s have ran fine on 200-300 watt power supplies in micro and flex ATX machines...so I wouldn't worry.

At least until the official release, when you will be brought back to life.

Oh, and to make this post relevant, my 512MB of PC3200 memory isn't working with my computer right now, so I'm stuck with a 128MB PC2400 module for the time being... I can use the PC3200 struff, but for some reason, most games I have (such as Morrowind or UT2k4) crash after about 2 minutes of gameplay.

Just run the PC3200 ram at a slower speed or relax the timings. If that doesn't work, then I probably can't help you.
