Jedi Academy Machinima help
2004-11-11, 8:34 PM #1
I'm currently working on a Machinima project using Jedi Academy. If anyone is familiar or knows anyone who is familiar with any of the following:

Editing movements, creating movements, creating emotes, adding emotes, or scripting

then please e-mail me at Rjmartinelli@cox.net.

Any advice and/or assistance will be welcome. If you have any questions on the project feel free to e-mail me.

Well that was quicker than I expected.
I'm well aware machinima isn't new to JA. The issue with this is that I am rather new to machinima. I guess you could call this an experiment of sorts. Right now I'm finding myself stuck with a few things, and maybe that's just because I've been out of the mod community since the days of Jedi Knight. I know there's a slew of usable emotes that you can use and I'm sure there's plenty of other actions that can be used. I'm trying to figure out a way to make the characters talk. I'm sure there's scripts for this, but as I said, I don't have much experience with this.

I'm also looking for advice on whether or not it would be easier to have everything acted out, or scripted in a cutscene format.

Either way, I'm looking for advice from pople who have experience trying this or just plain more experience with the game. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.
