Who ever wants to have a game of Counter-Strike Source next saturday, the 20th of november post here :D. If you don't...don't post. If the 20th is a bad date for you, then say so. Are there any spacific times that you would want? Make sure you say the time zone :p. It would be just whatever maps are released by Valve. No custom maps.

I've got an exam the 21st, I'd really like to study on the 20th. The 21st in the evening (EST) would be great for me. It would probably be better for a lot of people too; who goes out on Sunday evening? :p

Hmm I wouldn't mind a go....just not sure what my ping from aussieland would be like. I'm too used to a 80/90 ping not sure I wanna go back to 400+ :(

It shouldn't be over 100-150 if I host. If anyone else wants to host, speak up within the next week.

Jim, it might be out and made by Valve by the 21st, if not I'll throw it in.

Now that I think of it, if there are any spacific downloadable maps (that only have four hostages or a bomb site) name them and I'll add it to the list.

from what i was told they wont have any new content for CS:S until next month

and more good maps... (i'll keep the list short)

regulation maps only? if you mean official maps only... why? he is giving links to the maps... even on dialup you have plenty of time to get them... but if you are on dialup you may want to consider not joining... CS:S is a little worse than CS for high pings with the laggy hitboxes

Hey guys, I was into Counter-Strike for quite a while, but I gave up on it about 2 1\2 years ago, and sold the game back to EB. Counter-Strike Source has kinda reinvigorated my interest in it, what with the new physics and all. I was just wondering if there is a way to buy CS:S without buying Half-Life 2 Single Player, as I was never really into that portion of the game.

oh and supposedly the auto downloading of maps will be enabled when HL2 is released...

may or may not be true but that's what i heard...

still a good idea to download the maps

I should be able to play (assuming HL2 hasn't consumed my life by then)

I might forget about it, but I never have anything going on on saturdays. Some of you have my AIM/MSN names, so just let me know when it's about to start. I could even host it, too, if needed (I usually get between 60-80 pings for people with broadband in the US, about 90-120 for anyone outside the US)

But whatever. Sure, I'm in.
