What time is HL2 available?

If I stay up late, at 12:01AM on November 16th, will HL2 be available?

Hmm... who else would consider staying up that late to play a game? :)

my god.. can't you people wait until the end of the day to pick it up instead of rushing out in the middle of the night? You waited this long, what's another few hours?

Who says there's any "rushing out" involved? I bought mine through steam :)
Moo.

That's what I thought at first but I think it is through steam. I am just gonna go buy it before I go to work, and then play all night long after I get home :)

Gettig up at 8, ditching my 9:30 lecture, playing until my 2:30 recitation. Get out at 4, continue playing.

I'll be ditching school tomorrow morning for damn sure. If not, I'll be playing it on my laptop at school. It's a win-win situation here people!

I'll be playing it before and after work... If I'm gonna be buying $100 games I cant afford to miss work :p

Depends on your usage of "time" - for me, "the same time" could be construed as the exact time in universal terms or "3am 16 nov" which of course is relative.

Real Life > All.

Mega - I'd have a reciept for the game, but my computer is WAYYYYYYY too crap to even think if playing it. :(

No doubt real life is better, but Half-Life 2 is going to be fun.

but to be honest i definately want DoD:S a lot more than HL2. They're both going to rock though.

Aw well. Tomarrow afternoon it shall be.

Is there anyway to get DoD:S witout ordering HL through steam? Because I want it badly, but I cant get the game through steam, nor would I want to :(

Hmm... Actually, it seems like "Half-Life2" will actually be less than the original, and both are less than real life. Let me illustrate:

Real Life= 1.0 life
1/2 Life = 0.5 life
1/2Life^2 = 0.5x0.5 = 0.25.

So I say, the thing's waaaayyy over-hyped. :D

I'm contemplating whether there's gonna be a big line at Fry's, where I work. I might get up real early in the morning, and even though I don't work till 2:30, get dressed and get there by 7:50 before we open, so I can use my badge and get in. Stand through the last parts of our morning meeting, then get the game and go pay for it. It's just gonna feel real good to walk past the whole line at the front of the door, if there even is one.

The only thing that sucks is it puts me right in the middle of rush hour traffic, but coming back won't be bad.

Noo, it's not a superscript!

Real Life= 1.0 life
1/2 Life = 0.5 life
1/2Lifex2 = 0.5x2.0 = 1.

See, Half-Life2 = Real Life. You get to pick one or the other, not both.
