Final trailer for the Andrew Lloyd Webber version is out. Looks promising actually, other than the fact they threw a sword fighting sequence into it for no reason other than to throw a sword fighting sequence into it.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

I am going to see it.

I saw it at the Pantageous Theatre in Los Angeles twice. One time with Crawford and once with that other, inferior guy from Beauty and the Beast. Bother were awesome. Excellent. Great. Wonderful. Astounding. Yay.

Ive only seen it on stage once, and I'd like to go again since the first time seeing it was a bad experience. Play was amazing, and I cheered to no end. I'm going to see it opening doy however.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Saw it once over a decade ago here in Melbourne, Hugh Jackman was playing Phantom. Unfortunatley he didnt have the claws installed back then.

I saw the big traveling production in New Orleans a few years back. If this movie is as good as that was it should be a hit.

The only time I have ever seen it was last fall at the Schuster Center in Dayton. I know all of the music and can play it on the piano...

A movie is a great idea, but they'll probably ruin it...:(:(

Yeah, my parents bought a cassette tape of the songs the first time they saw it. I had to listen to it on the car on my way to second grade. I know them all. Isaw the trailer for it before "After the Sunset" (which is pretty funny, despite hte poor reviews). I was sitting in the movie theater singing (queitly, to myself) "Masquerade! Paper faces on parade, masquerade, masquerade...Masquerade! Every face a different shade..." Apparently I wasn't quiet enough, because my friend gave me a very strange look and tol me to "Shut up, Operaman".

I saw Phantom of the Opera in London with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. she so pretty. The theatre is such a nice experience, so much more enjoyable than the cinema. Actually seeing the people does make all the difference. Also the cunning engineering in changing set pieces and ingenious special effects are fantastic. Also the audience is considerably less of a problem than at the cinema, where the guffawing fat man in the seat infront of you will always ruin the film.

All I ask of you is now possibly my favourite song ever.
