Drunken Dilemma

I'm going to a formal tonight (In about half an hour) - which means suited and booted. Grand you may think, but the chances are I'll finish up at my girlfriend's house (it's about 20 more minutes walk uphill to mine), but the problem is I have a 9 o'clock lecture...

I can't take a spare set of clothes because we're going straight to the meal... which will turn into a hysterical drunken mess, which means I'm either going to have to (a) get up REALLY early despite drunkeness and go home, get changed, then go back for lecture.... or (b) screw my 9 o'clock in the ear with a hockey stick, and do a daylight walk of shame home in my suit.

Arse.

Go with B. just explain that you were so drunk people breathing the same air as you failed sobriety tests.
Hazard a company one process.

Perhaps, if you don't mind the discomfort, you could wear a "normal" set of clothes underneath your suit. :D

Elsewise, you could go to your girlfriend's house beforehand, and leave another set of clothes there.

There'll be nobody home - that would be the usual plan :o

An overwhelming victory for the B's.

Excellent :D

(If I do make it home tonight - severely unlikely - I'll drop by with a horrendous drunken post or two)

you could always find a secret location to stash your clothes. That would be an experience to remember, and possibly better than walking home like that drunk. You would sneak along, and people will wonder what you're doing, as you go back to the drop point to retrieve your disguise, so that you can complete the mission. :D

Helloquin's subtle (some may say almost "diplomatic") observations of the massassi droves, never ceases to put a smile on my face... ;)

The very notion of your suggestion is outrageous, Avenger! :D Now come on - would you really take your own advice on that one... :p ;)

What about not drinking at all and not having to worry about any of that?

Ah, home and sorted now. Indeed option B was carried out to great success. Got home in time to have a cup of tea, get changed and go back the way I'd just come and get to my lecture with 5 mins to spare.

The nine o'clock was screwed in its ear with a hockey stick.

And yep, I was bananamanned last night too. So was Izz, and everyone else I was with! :)

You should have just gone to uni in the suit, start a new trend!

Last walk of shame I did, I was coming back from a rave in a field somewhere in Brighton at about 9 on Sunday morning... We passed a couple in their 70s on the way to church, oh the dirty looks!
