hl2 stider mod

basicly, I just want to find a mod that could replace the striders with tripods from the war of the worlds (jeff wayne versions please).

It is bound to happen, I just want to know if there are any yet or if there is one being made. if there is, can someone please direct me to it.

... Isn't it just a LITTLE early to be looking for Mods? Especially stuff like that?

Reguardless, the way I see it, your best chance would be to make one yourself.

Wow, the game's been out for... *looks at clock* a touch less than 24 hours, and you expect there to be mods for it? There might be some hack so that you can play as the strider (which is what I figured you meant with the title), but I'm sure nobody has had the time to learn the editor, create a new model, animate it, etc...
