Looking for free/cheap webhosting

Ok so I'm paying $4.95 US per month for 200 MB of space and 10 GB of monthly bandwidth. I've been dealing with www.ehostpros.com, but their customer service is lousy, there is way too much downtime, and their mail server is never working.

I'm looking for a similar deal with any individual/company. I need at least 100MB, 1-2 GB of transfer, PHP/MySQL, and domain name hosting (www.doigtsagiles.com) for $5 or less per month.

Any suggestions?

Man, that is a sweet deal! Have you dealt with these guys though?
2004-11-17, 11:11 AM #4
Yes, I love them.

They forgot about me and I've running on a little over a year of free service.

Highely Recomended, despite this awsome mistake. I was very pleased with them as a paying customer, and still am pleased. If you have any problems you can find answers quick through either email for the forums.

I'm definitely going to be looking at them, then. :)

Ehostpros left my emails unanswered when they got in trouble for registering .ca domains under their name, and they are an American company. The law states that you must be a Canadian citizen or company/association/etc... to register a .ca. I had been working for a small association, designing their web site when the domain got suspended. No news, nothing on the forums, no email, nothing. For two months.

When I couldn't check my email, they said it was my fault. Way to go. I don't know how to set up Thunderbird. Even webmail wouldn't work.

Thanks, guys. :)

Keep them coming though!

Fuitadnet.com is by far the best deal I've ever found. My friend uses them, and they're awesome--I have a subdomain, and the ftp is always up and always fast, and the mail works well too.

Fuitadnet offers better packages for the same price. Thanks just the same. :)

Any have have some coupon #'s for Fuitadnet? I'm signing up right now and it's asking me for a coupon number, if I have one.

I searched but only found an expired one.

Your's doesn't seem to work, the subtotal is still the same amount. :(

I found the forum page that you were looking at, and the guy who says to enter "neodeal" as a coupon code also states that there are no setup fees. FuitadNet charges a $2.50 setup fee. I think he was talking about another host. :(

Well I canceled my account with ehostpros, and opened one up with Fuitadnet. My site will be down during the domain name transfer.

Cookies for all the helpful people. :)

Someone in some thread recently posted a crappy site with EXREMELLY cheap web hosting. Like, 20 bucks a month. The original price was in the EURO. I'm considering switching to it.

Http://www.out-post.net is what I'm currently with.
