Workout:

Mon - between 60-120 push ups (throughout the day, not all at once  ) 100 Situps* (20-30 with 1 minute intervals)
and use 5/10Kg weights.

Tues - at 6pm I go rockclimbing for 2 hours (followed by 4 hours of drinking and smoking ;) )

Wed - At 3pm I go climbing for 2 hours again, and at night do around 60 situps and 60 pushups at night.

Thurs - See Mon

Fri - See Mon

Sat & Sun - I'm (supposed to be) working and doing lots of walking around good for stomach muscles and leg muscles. A few push and sit ups nothing strenuous.

Diet:

I dont eat minced Beef anymore (stomach cant handle it now for some reason) so...

Lots of Chicken
Lots of pasta
Lots of Eggs
And I drink build up milkshakes with full milk.
And some green stuff.

Been doing this for a month, and got beastly arms and muscular manboobs of death.

Discuss your exercise.

Generally, I do about 100 sit ups every day, and occassionally (like twice a week) I run up and down the stairs, and when I have time, I take my dogs out on a walk. Also, I have a session in my school's multi-gym once a week.

I don't eat fatty stuff like cakes, biscuits, chocolate or crisps (potato chips).

Usually on sundays and saturdays I run for about 30 minutes.

Yeah im lazy.

Looking to improve that in the future.

Let's see...twenty minute walk to school and twenty minutes back, and 2.3 Kg weights every other day for about ten minutes. I also generally eat what I feel like :o I'm not particularly fitness-crazy, but I keep in the right weight bracket for my age/height nicely, and I've got fairly good muscle tone.
2004-11-21, 11:58 AM #5
I do exercise now and then but i don't go to a gym and work out. I play football semi-regularly.

I lift dumbbells about everyday, but sadly that's about it. I really need to improve, but I just never seem to take time out to do so.

I am technically underweight for my height and age.

Exercise:

Mon-Fri: walk to and from class every day. Usually involves climbing stairs.

Sat-Sun: lots of sleep. Never walk farther than 300 meters.

Diet:

Mon-Fri: whatever's in the cafeteria

Sat-Sun: whatever cafeteria leftovers I have in my fridge

Since getting to college I've really changed my habits.

Diet:
*No more soda
*Only drink water/fruit drinks/milk/blue poweraid (Blue poweraid is the shiznit. I love this stuff)
*Never eat breakfast. Typical Lunch is a sandwich (normal meat, veggies, cheese) and a bowl full of pasta. Dinner usually is a chicken sandwich, a bowl of cereal, some miscallence thing the commons is serving, and a desert. (usualy fruit related)

Exercise:
*I've started jogging to all my classes.
*I'm going to start going to the pool and doing laps every morning.
*Before I take showers I'll do a couple sets of pushups, curls, etc.

Wow aaron you have quiet a workout there ;) :) that's good stuff, nothing better then feeling and looking great :)

Well for me the goal is to lose 20-30 lbs by my sisters wedding next oct.

This coming monday I start my diet "The Perricone Promise" is what I'm going by.

The diet consists of fish, oatmeal, smoothies once a day made of plain yogurt and fresh berries. And of course it has lots of veggies like snacking on celery stalks, and having 3 almonds...yes only 3.

Every meal I will be taking norweigen (sp?) fish oil capsules and nueropeptide pills. And I will be starting the day off with protiens like eggs to slow down the sugar intake in the fruits etc, cutting out the fats etc. It helps reduce the aging process as well. I dont like fish, but the diet has a lot of salmon etc in it, since it has essential vitamins etc.

What better time to start but right before the Holidays. Keeps us all from gaining those holiday lbs. Anywho along with the diet I plan on starting to walk daily for 30min-1hour. We will see how things go. I have to lose the weight and then keep it off until the wedding. Anywho cant wait till I start to see results :)

My workout is kind of complicated, but here goes...

I'm a competitve rower, so I have 2 1/2 - 3 hour practices five day a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday our team spilts our practice evenly between rowing on the water and land training (we vary our workouts a lot, so I won't bother listing them).

Land training is hard workouts on the rowing machine coupled with the usual regimen of situps, pushups, etc. Water training focuses on both power and technique.

Tuesday is pure land training (Hell, due to 10 k's and sprints on the rowing machine), and Thursday is all water training (mostly technique work).

Tough stuff, but worth it.

I don't have a driving licence :) So I use my bike.

And I get drunk every day till I vomit, so I stay slim.

That's it. But the alcohol thing is a lie. Sometimes I go swimming. :)

I'm not typing my workout plan and diet plan since it's just too much and I'm just too lazy to do it. But suffice to say, it's a workout and diet plan that involves heavy lifting of weights, daily cardio, and a good diet.
2004-11-21, 2:56 PM #16
I'm too lazy to type the details but I do ~150km (93 miles) of cycling/week and ~7-10 hours of weight training/week

I was doing Tae Kwon Do and Yoga 2 nights a week, but my gym membership ran out and I can't afford to renew it.

The trails are closed around here due to hunting, so instead of hiking, I've been fast-walking 2-3 miles every Tues/Thurs morning. I also work out with a 5 lbs ball for around 20-30 minutes every day. I do crunches as well, but that's very random.

I've been slacking lately, as you can tell by the above, mainly due to working 40 hours a week and all of my final C++2 projects. Traditionally, I'm not very active in the winter, but I hope to change this when this class is over.
2004-11-21, 3:53 PM #19
Workout: None as such but four times a week i have to do a half hour walk (if i'm walking fast) to my university from the rail station and the same on the way back.

Diet: Eat whatever the hell i like and still never put on a single pound :(

Workout: Walking back and forth to class. Work, involving lots of walking back and forth and sometimes carrying stuff.

Diet: Whatever looks good. Right now I'm eating an Opera Torte I got from Starbucks, it's basically Tiramisu, and I'm drinking a Coke and just put on a kettle for tea. Had a couple beers today... hope I dont get fat.

I'm skinny, but I used to be in very good shape because I was wrestled in high school. Started something similar to Clan's workout last week actually so it's funny that you mention it. Except replace rock climbing with running/cycling.

I eat better than I used too (which was really really bad), and I walk 3.5 - 6 km a day at 4km/h

Yeah, that's about it. Screw gyms.

1.) Salad.
2.) Walk around park. (About a 40 minute walk)

I have nothing to actually 'work out' per se, or I probably would.

And I totally just gorged myself at church.

Two words: Free food.

That is all.

I lift weights every other day, I play basketball once a week for about an hour and a half and I play soccer once a week for about an hour and a half. Lots of walking to class Mon-Fri (couple of miles a day) and I do a lot of hiking and stuff like that too.

As for my actual workouts:

3 sets of crunches, 75 per set
3 sets of leg lifts, 35 per set
3-4 minutes on an ab-wheel

Bench Press: 3 sets, 8 reps, 165 lbs.
Military Press: 3 sets, 8 reps, 105 lbs.
Curls: 3 sets, 10 reps, 95 lbs.
Tricep Curl: 3 sets, 8 reps, 35 lbs (dumbell)
Forearm Curl: 3 sets, 10 reps, 45 lbs (dumbell)
Leg Press: 3 sets, 10 reps, 400 lbs.
Calf Press: 3 sets, 10 reps, 400 lbs.

I've been working out consistantly since the beginning of summer and I've added 45 lbs. to my bench, 45 lbs. to my military press, 45 lbs. to my curls, 20 lbs. to my tris, 20 lbs. to my forearms and about 100 lbs to the leg press and calf. No signs of slowing down either.

As for my diet, I'm usually pretty good about what I eat, but I like my pizza and beer a lot, so I'm not sporting a visible 6 pack. More like a 4 pack.

Avenger, do you do that same workout every other day? I looks like the perfect total body workout. I might give it a shot over the break. I always like to try new workouts and it looks like it is working for you (45 lbs. to bench in about 2.5 months is not bad at all, especially working out everyother day)

I don't really do anything. I eat a fairly healthy diet, that's about it. I can maintain my weight that way. No fat, but no muscle either. I'm cool with it.
I have a signature.

Yeah every other day, but there have been some times where I haven't been able to get the work out in so there are I have two days between workouts. It's worked really well for me. I've trimmed down a lot and added a little bit of muscle as well. It gets all the major muscle groups and it doesn't take more than 45 minutes to do.

More like like 5 months to add work my way up though. ;)

When I did track & field:

Sundays: 1hr long run usually about 10 miles.
Monday: varies but usually it was an endurance workout like step downs (1200,1000,800,etc) or 6x600m at pace.
Tuesday: Recovery 1/2 hour run.
Wednesday: Speed workouts (8x200 @ race pace, 300m get-backs)
Thursday: Recovery
Friday: No training.
Saturday: If in season, meet day

Bah you people are all nuts. I walk some places. I eat when I'm hungry. I'm fine. Slim, maybe a little soft (but people like me soft). I'm not strong, but thats okay.

My Caloric intake must be close to my usage because I don't gain much weight.
