Gap? Don't know what you're talking about.

Gimp? If you're talking about the image editing tool, I use it all the time and it's fine. It's not as nice as Photoshop (well the last Photoshop I used was version 5), but it gets the job done. They have been making major improvements and a new version is shipping in the next week or two. It even works on windows... However, it's open source, so why not just download it and try it?

If you're talking about something else completely, how about making your subjects and post content more clear?

hmmm... ok.
gap is gimp animation program. it's from gimp and i don't know where is saw it (i think the rpm page for fedora). i can't seem to see anything about it on their site.

gimp is the only reason i don't use linux 100% of the time.
but i just intsalled fc2 and i'll get the latest gimp. it looks promising.
