What do you think about the simpsons?

Some friends and I has just started a simpsons-club.

And who is your favorite character?
It's easy to guess mine...

Grandpa is probably my favorite. Nothing beats a senile old man.

Anyways, I love the Simpsons. Although they went somewhat on a downard slide until Season 15 (this season which by the way, is probably one of their best seasons yet), it was still better than most shows on TV.

And now, I await for the Family Guy/Simpsons hater who will say "Family Guy owns so much more because they are a lot more harsh and cruel and get away with more stuff". If the Simpsons weren't so popular, they too could get away with all that stuff, yet the simpsons still is able to pull biting satire and comedy. Not to mention The Simpsons must be a bit more appreciated if it's lasted, what's that, like 326 episodes?

If it wasnt for what the Simpsons got away with back in the 90's, shows like Family Guy and South Park would never be able to get away with things they do today.

So many good characters... Lenny, Carl, Duffman, Gill, Ralph, Millhouse, Moe, Krusty, Bumblebee Man, Dr Nick, Lionel Hutz, Troy McLure, Fat Tony, Comic Book Guy, Itchy and Scratchy, Mr Burns, Rainier Wolfcastle, Sideshow Bob, Cleetus, Grandpa, Kodos, Kang, Edna Krabapple, Martin, Lou, Eddie, Apu, Arnie Pie, Mayor Quimby...

But, Homer reigns way above them as the character who gets the most laughs out of me.

Moe, Willie, Skinner, Burns, Homer, Grandpa, Ralph, Milhouse.

2nd place, any time Smithers says something homosexual, Lisa, Krusty, Nelson.

3rd place, Poochy, Smilin' Jim Fusion.

Almost all the characters have their moments, Moe has some good moments, so do Carl and Lenny...

I hear they are only going to have 2 more seasons, and a supposed movie after the series is over.

You say they have about 326 episodes? I just wish Fox would play more than 15 of those... Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem.

And I like the pyromaniac leprechaun and the space coyote. Of course the bumble bee man will always have a special place in my heart right next to that reddish blue thing that has like striations or whatever on it.
