I'm dumbfounded. I can't finish the game. I've waited over a year and a half, had to wait four more days after the first day I got it to play it again because I was out of town, and now that I've gotten so close, I can't complete it. Great.

I'm on Our Benifactors and I just got the Super charge blue gravity gun . I've fought through a few rooms, and I'm to the spot where it autosaves it next. Past a room that had a lot of the charged spheres moving upward. I load it, and it hangs. I also see the mouse cursor. I've tried it several times, with the same results each time. I really, really don't want to have to start all over just to get to the same spot, because I want to see what happens.

Why oh why does this happen to me...

Yea, forgot to tell that part. Done tried. Restarted the level, same hang. Restarted from the level before that, same hang. Haven't tried two levels back yet, but thats probably what I'll do next.

Here i'll save you the trouble. Gorden gets his hand cut off while Breen tells him that he's his father, then Gorden falls down the core and it blows up.

Looks like someone has the leaked beta of HL3:Hail to the king

Someone posted a link in another thread that would contact Steam and make sure your game files are uncorrupted, or if they are, uncorrupt them. Try and find that. If that doesn't work, back up your save files, then uninstall and reinstall.
