Chronicles of Riddick

I just watched the Unrated Director's Cut today. I didn't think it was all that bad. Actually it was quite fun (like perhaps a 6.5 out of 10), much better then "Van Helsing". Vin Diesel did a good job as Riddick in my opinion. Someone who stabs a ton of people in the movie and someone will plays a non-emotional deep voiced killer. Overall the special effects are good, but these panther like creatures did have bad CG graphics. I never seen "Pitch Black" though so I'm not sure how good this movie is as a sequel. Two question though, you become a necromonger by having these two sharp poles stick into your neck? Who is the lady that spoke to Riddick in his dream and when he is almost killed?

Watch both movies and go through the game as a trilogy. While it's not the most original story, it's totally badass and Vin Diesel makes a great "soulles convict" character. Plus the continuity between the 3 is really good.

That movie was so bad it hurt my head. It was quasi-enjoyable for the first little bit when Riddick did nothing but beat people up and spurt one-liners, but as soon as the plot developed and people started defying the laws of physics that movie went south faster than geese on speed.

was really enjoying the movie upto that point, it had a semi-realness to it that meant you could actually believe what was going on and that riddick was the bad-***....

still enjoyed the film though, but if they had kept it a little more *real* it could have been better, but it is Sci-Fi....

I went in expecting an unrealistic sci-fi action flick where Riddick whoops ***. I got what I wanted, and it rocked!

The tips at the end of shoelaces are called "aglets". Their true purpose is sinister.

When did they start breaking the laws of physics? Riddick is capable of all those super human stunts because he's not a human. Unfortunately, I don't have a X-Box so I can't play it (the game surprisingly received good reviews as well). Vin Diesel's voice is pretty cool for an action movie star, don't you think? It's so deep that it would even intimidate Solid Snake.

Vin Diesel rocks cause he's like the biggest geek ever.
He plays DnD, videogames, and such.
Though I've seen him on tv talking in real life on tv. He sounds nothing like he does in his movies:p Its funny

I heard the same thing about him.
As far as the game goes, it's totally cool. It's really short, though, but you get a ton of background story...the fighting (melee) is pretty good...it's really fun and the graphics are great.
